Of All The Dope Babes, A Babe Who Minds Her Dopamine Levels Is The Dopest!

Bridgerton’s Lady Whistledown said of all bitches dead or alive, a scribbling woman is the most canine. I say of all the dope babes, a babe who minds her dopamine levels is the dopest of all. Well if that is any true, this babe right here would like to tell you a thing or two about dopamine and how it can help you build new enticing experiences and develop a healthier brain.

I know some could be wondering what kind of creature dopamine is.

Dopamine is a kind of compound that is released by our bodies and utilized by the nervous system as a neurotransmitter. It sends messages in between the nerve cells. This compound is responsible for the manner in which we feel pleasure and the human capacity to process thoughts and make plans.

It even impacts the manner in which you focus, strive for the things you believe in in life, and find interest in even the smallest things in life.

Extreme or low levels of dopamine is harmful to our health and can lead to illnesses such as Parkinson’s disease and obesity. It is the main reason I insist on balancing its levels.

Personally, my routine over the past three months has been one of the most consistent ones that I have had my entire life. My own universe have felt like a little cozy bubble since. Have I seen, positive results? Yes, plenty in fact. Do I want to burst this ‘bubble’? Not even if I got a heavy payment in return!

My brain has done the work for me effortlessly.

The thing is, I find myself looking forward to each day with a mind that is entirely open to learn and gain new experiences.

My morning routines starts with a prayer, well not like a prayer a day to keep the devil away but one full of total devotion to time in the presence of God. A 30 minutes of exercise then follows then a shower and a lastly healthy breakfast (full of proteins). From that point my day starts officially.

I never allow myself to sulk or develop a bad feelings which I have mastered to do so through switching up activities.

However, those are just the basics and the main goal for me is to develop a healthy brain. One that carry me through my journey to the big dreams and goals I have for me and mine without plunging me into deep mental illness.

The hot question therefore is, how do I nurture a healthy brain?

For starters, reading! I try to read every readable thing I come across. I’m an academic writer who currently focuses on nursing research and as well the chief author in this blog. I could swear that I could not have managed this far without my reading culture. Reading enables me to build my brain by learning new words, phrases, styles of writing that enables me hone mine, and a bunch of other life skills.

I’m passionate about writing and every moment I get I utilize it. It really does not stop at being passionate, you have to do the work.

Practice, practice, and some more practice. It sure does make perfect!

Increased release of dopamine is essential for it accelerates my moods.

Whenever we learn something new, we enable our brains to release more dopamine. This process enlarges the memory space in the mind allowing us to store more information both in the long and the short term memory space.

What if I told you you are a summary of all the things you have ever seen, heard, consumed, inhaled, said, and even those you have forgotten?

Would that make you ready for a dopamine balance challenge?

Instead of rolling up the coach today to watch Bridgerton, or do any other thing you have developed a habit to binge on. How about you read that book? How about you go for that walk? How about yo dress up and go for that solo dinner?

Just get out of that comfort zone!

Allow your mind, eyes, ears, senses, and skin to experience that different surrounding. Listen to thoughts other than yours. Meet new people.

Doesn’t it feels good? if not new maybe?

Switching up your experiences allows you to yearn for day after day knowing quite well that new experiences are lined up for you.

You’ll further discover that as your interests widen, your mindset evolves.

New experiences boosts the dopamine releases by the brains. The release of the dopamine triggers expansion of the storage in the brain and growth of new neurological paths.

Remember, all battles are won or lost in our minds.

Let’s utilize the power within us.

Build new skills through experience.

You’ll be more fulfilled in life.

Life is dang short to play mediocre!
